Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge - Paper Piecing

I am so sad as the Tilda and Friends Challenge is going to be stopping running as they have more DT members than people taking part. Its a shame as I enter it every week. :-((( I have used my stamp I received last week from Caz over at it for winning the September Draw. Its a Greetings Farm Image and I think she is so sweet. Fabs Big Christmas Card Challenge - Baubles!

Believe it or not this took me longer to dot hat the ATC above it with its cutting out but I used co-ordination Peel Offs and filled in the blacks with the silver peel off spares so it took a while and a lot of concentration!!! Although its simple it is stunning!

The kids are fed up of being stuck in the house with the last couple of days bad weather so hope they can get out and use up some energy today.

So here is my card for these 3 challenges. The only thing missing from the Papertake weekly one is the text but I felt that the flower on the top would interfere with any text.

The colours are slightly different due to the photo. The pink paper is coloured by me with my white sakura pen.

So the colours were, Blue green white or cream. Papertake is on week 100 so it was take your pick of all the challenges so I chose Delightful Downloads, and the button is obvious!

I have used my brand new download from Pink Petticoat. She is Frillie Millie (Bonbon) and was only 99p! Ain't she cute with her wee doggy.

I had to take the picture without the flash as the background and Millie have sparkle and it was catching the light too much so sorry but you just don't see the full effect of the colouring in.

Anyway off now to chill out, tonight on BBC 1 we have Holby and its one of my must see's

Have to say I was very impressed with QVC today. I ordered the Forever Friends TSV on Tuesday and it came today. Also another kit did too. Oops how did it manage to fall into my basket!LOL They are both brilliant. Can't wait to get my hands on the stuff and play!!!

Was really proud today as had to phone the new school Jake is going to and spoke to his new Guidance Teacher. Who said "Oh yes I remember Jake from last week as he was very polite and helpful!!!" Why is he not like that at home then!!LOL

Well what a busy day we had yesterday. I had my worry woman in the morning then when I came home Alan announced that his friend would be round later with his Dad. Well this is a privilege as Chris's Dad is one of the Chelsea Pensioners. Sadly he didn't have his uniform on. What a lovely old man he was. It was great to meet him.

I am so tired today as it takes a lot out of me going to see Morag, just having to talk about panic is really stressful. Sure it will help though and will be normal again one day!!!!

Well off to get on with the day. Its dull today so don't know what the kids will want to do.

It is a lovely fresh spring day here so might go back out to the garden to get some more tidying up done! Will have to remember to wear gardening gloves as my hands are still recovering from Sunday.

I had chosen my stamped image for the Papertake Weekly Challenge last night and then when I looked at the Spoonful of Sugar Challenge this morning they tied in nicely so I have combined them. It was another brilliant sketch by Dawny P over on the Papertake Weekly. I love using her sketches so this was a joy.

Some Challenge Cards (eventually!)

Well last night I decided I couldn't do any more of the ring cushion so I had an hour playing with my crafty stuff. It was heaven just playing and not trying to get something done. The ring cushion is nearly finished but just needed a wee break! I have made 1 card for a challenge and 2 ATCs.

This card is for Fabs Big Christmas Card Challenge. the theme is stripes or rick rack ribbon. I have used one of my HOTP Personal Shopper cars and just changed it slightly. Hope you got on OK yesterday Fab. :-)

This ATC covers 2 challenges. Papertake Weekly is something edible and Tilda and Friends is Horizontal hold.

Finally this ATC is the ABC Challenge where it is F for Flowers this week.
OK OK I have a confession to make I am an addict. Yes every time I go near my craft stuff the Sakutra pens shout to me. I cant stop using them. I have used them on both these ATC's . I used to go for my watercolour pencils but I really love the sakura stuff. Don't think I need to get rid of the addiction though. Just save up to get more.
Off to get on with the day. I might finish the ring cushion but if not it will be on tomorrow as only about an hours work left to do on it.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

The challenge over on Papertake Weekly is a sketch by Dawny P. I love working with her sketches and got onto it straight away. Also I was itching to use my new stamp. It is What Me by Lindsay Mason. Look isn't Cherry so sweet. She is making me think of Jess my cat. She is acting like a kitten again now that Tai is away to heaven. She is 10 soon and is acting like a year old beasty. So I recon she has been in a great big huff for the 7 years we had Tai. She used to wee wee where she likes and has used the litter for the last 3 weeks so its a miracle. My house also smells a lot better!!!

The card I have used was embossed with a border round it so I used it for the background by colouring it with my adirondack inks. You can't really see the edge of the card as the picture is faded out. Sorry.

Forever Friends and Papertake Weekly.

The challenge over on Forever Friends this week was St Davids Day. I have chosen to make my card in the colours of the Welsh Flag, Red White and Green. The Bear has a shrink plastic Daffodil in her ear and the sentiment is Good Luck in Welsh. (I hope!!!!) I tried to find Hello and some other text but Happy Birthday looked too difficult and Helo is Hello in Welsh so not much change there.

So onto the Papertake Weekly Challenge where it is a colour challenge, pink, orange and brown, Hot Chocolate. Pink and Orange being the hot and brown being chocolate. Mmmmm The best Hot Choc I ever had was in Harrods in London, Mum and I had a Hot Choc and a scone each and it cost us £10.00. This must have been in about 1996 so how much would it be now.

The image here is one I received fro the Lovely Lorraine over on Lorraine's Loft. I think she is a Whiff of Joy Girl. Just made me think of being cosy and warm.

Well off to potter about now, think I might get a good book and toddle off to bed soon as really tired tonight. Tom has a wee friend coming tomorrow after nursery so need loads of energy for having 2 4 year olds in the house!!!
