Cute Card Thursday - So Charming.

The reason I have put In Flanders Fields is as every time I think of Poppies I think of this poem by John McCrae. I will pop it on at the end of this post. We had to learn it in Primary 5 at the school so that was 1984 and it has always stuck with me!!

Recipe

• Old CD
• Embossed Black Card(It is embossed honest!!! Thanks Jackie)
• Gorjuss Stamp (Poppy Fields)
• Coloured with Watercolour Paint and Sakura Pen
• Ribbon, Peel Off, charm and flowers from stash.

I stuck the charm above the Gorjuss Girl to have a shooting star as an emblem of hope in the poppy field. The embossing was from sizzix but it hasn't really come up well on the picture. If you click on it to enlarge it you can see it more clearly!

Right off to get on with the afternoon. I am sooooo sleepy today as I have had a busy morning with my Worry Woman and also didn't really get much sleep last night so my fingers are all over the shop!!! LOL Thank goodness for the spell checker.

Its very windy here today but also right cold again!

The whole kit comes from my QVC Kit I received the other week. The only extra was the ribbon.

Well its really sunny here today so off to get on with the day. Jake has gone out to play for a bit so hope he expends some energy as he just couldn't sleep last night and so kept Mummy up too. He kept telling me I can't sleep. So by half past 1 this am I was getting a bit ratty at him. Grrrr

Tom is playing dress up and has an "acrobat" on which is really a cravat but he can't call it that!LOL Love it when they get words muddled as its so cute. Jake still calls Squirrels Quirrels!

Secret Crafter - Hearts and Flowers

Brrrr the North Wind doth blow, and makes it blooming freezing here today. Just the sort of day to cosy in and make a card or 2!

Here is my card for the above 2 challenges today. Don't think my Wee Tilda would be able to skip here as her rope would be blown away. Least the washing is drying though.

Card Recipe

• 5 x 5 Card
• Magnolia Image from RAK
• Coloured with pencils, watercolour paint and Sakura pens
• Backing Papers Free with Creative Card making Magazine.
• Flowers, Ribbon and Charm from stash.
• Faux Stitching done with Marvy Le Plume Pen

I didn't know what colour her flowers would be so they are white, just used my Sakura white pen for them, think they might be daisy's. I coloured her wings with my Sakura Stardust pen so they are glittery but the picture doesn't really show it up.

Off to play with Tom, he wants to have a sleep over at Baby Bunny's house tonight. (That's his wee cuddly Rabbit!) She lives in a Carrot he tells me but it has upstairs! LOL Bless him what an imagination he has.

Afternoon All, What a glorious day it is heree in Arbroath, the sun is very bright and there is a wee breeze. Lovely. I have been busy upstairs making a few bits and pieces.

Here is my final card for Sunday. Hurray I managed to get 3 done in 1 as I love all these challenges but just have not got enough time in the day just now with it being the school holidays.

Well by this time next week the Ruby Wedding celebrations will be over. Gosh all the planning that has gone into it and it will pass so quickly. I have used A Kanban Concept Card topper here with just some ribbon from SU. (Thanks for the sample Fab!) and a wee Made with Love Charm I got yesterday from Cuddly Buddly.

Roses on Paper- Gate fold with stitching.

For Roses on Paper you have a choice of 4 different types of stamps to use so I have used my Rachelle Anne Millar one of Lola this time. My Papers are again from SU and so it the sentiment stamp.

Right off to watch Andy Murray at Wimbledon.

Sunflowers!

Rainbow Lady is back form her hols. Hope you had a great time Cynthia. This week she has chosen Sunflowers as the theme. I have been playing again and this is what I came up with.
