I am so sad as the Tilda and Friends Challenge is going to be stopping running as they have more DT members than people taking part. Its a shame as I enter it every week. :-((( I have used my stamp I received last week from Caz over at it for winning the September Draw. Its a Greetings Farm Image and I think she is so sweet. Thanks again Girls.xo

Just want to say thanks for all the kind wishes about my Gran. She saw the Doctor at 6 last night and he has doubled her antibiotics so she is on a HUGE dose now. This am when I called her she sounds really tired but the pain is not as bad and her leg is not as swollen. Poor Wifie! She slept from 9 last night till 9 this am so hope that she will be on the mend soon.

Thanks also to my lovely new followers. Welcome to my blog, thanks for visiting.

Off to get on with the dreaded housework now. Have a fabby Sunday all.

Moving Along with the Times DT Card.

Clare C's Sketch and No Stamps Theme!

Over on MAWTT this week Clare set us this hard task of no stamping with the cards we made.. The prize this week is a Guest Designer Spot for a fortnight!

So this is my card for our challenge. I am going to enter it into some other challenges too as I don't seem to have much in the way of mojo at the moment so am cheating!LOL

Our schools come off tomorrow for a fortnights holidays so I will have the boys at home to keep me company.

Craft Club Card/ A Spoonful of Sugar!

Here is my card which I made at craft club last night. Well I partly made it at craft club then had a panic attack and had to come home so finished it off here. Blooming panics are the bain of my life. There was a matching bookmark to make but I haven't done it yet as was nursing my wee spotty baby when I got home.
When I looked on A Spoonful of Sugar Blog this morning it was Little Gems so this card ties in as I put wee Aurora borealis gems in 2 of the flowers and on the ribbon. The picture doesn't really show them up but they are there (honest!!). I don't have much time to make a card today with Tom so hope you don't mind.
I also changed the flowers a wee bit from what Liz had done by colouring the edges of them with a metallic sakura pen.
Well wee Tom ands I have been up for quite a bit of the night so not much going to be done today. I counted 60 spots on his back and on 1 eye he has 5 wee ones. He is doing really well though and isn't complaining, just sitting watching Doctor Who. Just going to put the finishing touches to my DT card for Thursdays Daisy and Dandelion Challenge and get some more of the Ring Cushion cross stitch done as the Wedding is a week on Friday!!!
Have as good day all,
Hazelxoxo

Well today has been a funny old day. Have not done as much as I had planned as a going round in circles day. You know when you have a huge list of to do's but only get 1 or 2 bits done. Grrr. Jake is still collecting money for the Red Nose Day hair cut. Thank You to those who have donated. We are overwhelmed by every ones generosity. Roll on Thursday night. Hee hee.

Well busy tomorrow as have an appt to see about the Agoraphobia so will be really tired after as I have to go there!!!! Mmmmm difficult one but I will grin and bear it. Need to get this sorted out as it just impinges on every aspect of my life. Anyway enough yapping, have a good Tuesday evening,

A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge.

The Challenge was Torn Edges over on A Spoonful of Sugar this week. Well the postie brought me some of my lovely Daisy and Dandelion and Friends stuff so I just had to use a bit of it. So here is Candyfloss the Flop Eared Bunny. Look at her little pink ears. Ah she is so sweet.
I used the pink background paper and also co-ordinations card stock which I aged to make the layers for the card. When I had finished sticking it together I thought I should have used an ink pad to darken up the torn edges of the pink paper as you can't really see it has been torn. Oh well will know for next time!!!
  • Standard Card
  • Candyfloss and Marshmallow Decoupage Die Cut and Paper
  • Free Sentiment with Do-Crafts Magazine
  • Co-ordinations Black Magic Card.
Well I am trying to get through all the ATCs for my challenges that I do every month. 1 is completed and 2 to finish so back to that for the rest of the day.

4 Challenge cards in 1 Post

Well I am posting the 4 cards I have done over the last couple of days together as it is sore to type much. ? What I have done to my right shoulder and neck but it hurts to be on the computer too long. Think I knotted it last Sat night at the Vets and its not recovered then made it worse by playing on the computer .
Top Card is a sketch by ~Jill over at TheSecret Crafter Saturday Challenge. I haven't made a Christmas CArd for a couple of weeks so thought I had better catch up with myself!

This Card is for The Forever Friends Challenge where the challenge was Black and White.

This card is from a sketch by Dawny P over on Papertake Weekly.

Finally this is my take on the Spoonful of Sugar Challenge where the Challenge was Shape Shifters which you had to make a card with a different shape to normal.
Sorry its a big post without much in it but I am getting sore again and want to be able to toss my pancakes for shrove Tuesday!!!
Thanks You for all comments. They are all appreciated. If you are giving something up for lent put it into the comments too. I am giving up chips, take aways and swearing!!!!!
Love to All

A Spoonful of Sugar Tuesday Challenge.

It was a sketch this week by Debbie over on A Spoonful of Sugar.
I have used a Kanban Decoupage sheet (Siya) which I didn't decoupage as felt it was enough just on its own. I got this from Cazz http://thecazzbar.blogspot.com/ who is moving into her new flat and sold off some crafty stuff on Ebay. I wanted to help her out as she is a Great Blogging Buddy so I bought a few bits from her. Also too far away to help with the move.
  • A5 White Card
  • Kanban Siya Decoupage sheet and Floral Sheet
  • Co-ordinations Black Magic Card stock
  • Ribbon from stash
  • Flora Doodles Flower
  • Peel Off from stash

We are all still very tired today as still getting over the sudden death of wee Tai. I spent most of Sunday in tears as he was such a sweet wee man. I know the right decision was made but it still hurts. Today I haven't cried though so hopefully it won't be so hard soon. Jess my other cat is missing him. They used to fight loads but I suppose they have been together for nearly 7 years so must be hard for her. She is happy today as I bought some yummy food for her and a toy with loads of catnip! She is acting like a kitten She will be 10 in may.

Well off to make some more cards so will have them on the blog tomorrow.

A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge.

Its Doodle Doo time on A Spoonful of Sugar. I keep singing the song from the Cbeebies Programme now. So you had to have a doodle in the card somewhere.
I made this for my Mum to give to her friend. The Doddle Stamp is a HOTP one and I thought it would be just right.
  • Standard Card
  • Penny Black Hedgehog Stamp
  • Holographic Card
  • Happy Birthday Stamp From HOTP
  • Derwent Watercolours
  • Glitter
Thankfully I had put this card up high when disaster struck the craft desk last night. Jess the Cat wee'ed all over all my stuff which I had layed out for other challenges and swaps!! ARGH!!!! So she is in the bad books. She is terrible for doing this and cause it is cold out she just goes where she see's fit. Grrr. Poor Tai the Cat is ill today. He went to the Vet this morning and the Vet says he has a temperature. So he got an antibiotic injection. He is just not himself and looks really sad. He won't even eat tuna which he loves. My Mum had to take him for me. So thanks to her for that. What would I do without her.
Well off to re make the cards from last night! Its a lovely spring day here.

A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge.

Over on A Spoonful of Sugar it was Paper Piecing this week. Well I went into town this morning for 5 minutes. (That's all the panic would allow! Grrrr) I bought a couple of magazines in the 1 shop I went into! So here is my Free Newtons Law stamp from Quick Cards Made Easy and the paper is from Simply Cards and Papercrafts. The paper pieced area is the heart and Newtons patch just underneath it. I then made stitches with my Marvy Le Plume Black pen so it blended in. I didn't add a sentiment as the stamp had with love on it and I thought it might be overkill.
  • 5X5 Card
  • Free Paper
  • Free NewtonsLaw Stamp
  • Aqua Promarkers
  • Marvy Le Plume Pen
  • Mirri Card in Gunmetal

A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge.

Challenge 33 on A spoonful of Sugar is a sketch by Nikki. I got a lovely text from my friend Tracy yesterday saying she was a Granny to Logan who was born on Monday. He will be tiny as he is only 5lb 8oz. Tom was only 2oz bigger and he was like a wee dolly. So I have made Jacqueline a congratulations card for the birth of her wee man using the sketch.
Boy am I tired as had to wait up for Jake coming home and it was 2am that they arrived back. He is off school again today as so sleepy. He seems to have had a good holiday. Missed the constant chattering which he does. So his tongue is not tired!! LOL
  • 5x5 Card
  • DCWV Backing Paper
  • Matt Silver Card stock from stash
  • Sentiment From DCWV
  • Embellishment from Lets Make Cards Pack
  • Flowers and Ribbon From Stash

Well off to get on with the day, might have a snooze this afternoon. Have to catch up with a couple of crafty things so might post again later in the day,

A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge.

Here is my card for the Spoonful of Sugar Challenge this week. This time it is a New Year Card we had to make.

I have used a template which I was shown by the Lovely Liz on Monday night at my craft club. Liz is great and so talented. So I thought I would give this a go. I have used Forever Friends peel off stickers and the green paper is also Forever Friends. The silver peel offs are from my stash.

I used a thin line of peel offs round the green to make it stand out more. The bears are on 2mm foam pads. The swirls on the front come from a magazine and they were part of the freebies.

Hope you like it, I had loads of fun making it. Think it is cause the pressure is off to keep making all those blooming Christmas Cards!
