Lovely Lindsay Mason!!!

Well I managed it today for longer than the last time I saw Lindsay.That must have been about 2 minutes!!! So Today I stayed for at least 20 minutes. Even saw some of a demo!!! I spent loads so no doubt you will see some of my cards I make with my new Stamps, Yes I got the Owl and I had to get another Cherry Cat one. Saw a picture of the real Cherry and she was just so cute and fluffy!

Lindsay is such a kind and wonderful person. The first thing she did was give me a big hug. She is so nice. I even swapped an ATC.

Louise was helpful as ever. Her shop is going to have a web shop soon so will keep you all posted when it goes live!! Its got such a cool name. Kitty Krafts!

I then excelled myself and drove back to my Mum and Dads. This was a feat in itself as it was Mums car but I wanted to prove to myself I could do it. Its only about 15 minutes away but enough!

Sketch Saturday.

This week over on sketch Saturday it is a sketch by Tracie. For some reason I seem to have missed this challenge last week. Oops. To much to do and too little time.

Well I was making this card when my paper trimmer blade started to munch on the paper rather than cut it. Argh. Wanted another blade today but sadly the local craft shop (Kitty Krafts) is out of stock. Spoke to Louise on the phone who was really helpful. I am going to try and make it up to Broughty Ferry to her shop to meet Lindsay Mason in a couple of weeks time. I can't wait and have stashed some money away so I can spend spend spend. My list is getting longer and longer!!!

Well today has been a funny old day. Have not done as much as I had planned as a going round in circles day. You know when you have a huge list of to do's but only get 1 or 2 bits done. Grrr. Jake is still collecting money for the Red Nose Day hair cut. Thank You to those who have donated. We are overwhelmed by every ones generosity. Roll on Thursday night. Hee hee.

Well busy tomorrow as have an appt to see about the Agoraphobia so will be really tired after as I have to go there!!!! Mmmmm difficult one but I will grin and bear it. Need to get this sorted out as it just impinges on every aspect of my life. Anyway enough yapping, have a good Tuesday evening,

Papertake Weekly Challenge

The challenge over on Papertake Weekly is a sketch by Dawny P. I love working with her sketches and got onto it straight away. Also I was itching to use my new stamp. It is What Me by Lindsay Mason. Look isn't Cherry so sweet. She is making me think of Jess my cat. She is acting like a kitten again now that Tai is away to heaven. She is 10 soon and is acting like a year old beasty. So I recon she has been in a great big huff for the 7 years we had Tai. She used to wee wee where she likes and has used the litter for the last 3 weeks so its a miracle. My house also smells a lot better!!!

The card I have used was embossed with a border round it so I used it for the background by colouring it with my adirondack inks. You can't really see the edge of the card as the picture is faded out. Sorry.

Cupcake Craft Challenge.

Over on Cupcake Craft Challenge this week the challenge was - On to this weeks challenge I have chosen 'Inspiration From Home'. Find anything in your home and be inspired by it. The colours, the design anything.

Well can you guess who my inspiration is. Hee hee its Jess and Tai the terrible 2. The cat stamps are by Lindsay Mason and the paws are also a Funstamps stamp. Tai is the one sitting looking sweet and innocent while Jess looks like the monkey she is showing her bum off in the air. Typical female cat! The background paper is DCWV Rock star card. I have made the meow myself. I hope you think it is OK as this is my first time writing on a card but couldn't find a sentiment I liked.

Well its frosty here today but dry so got the endless washing out. Trying to tidy the house too but with Christmas stuff lying about it just looks a mess. Have a great day all,

Stamp Something Challenge.

OK I have done more than being on the computer today, honest!!!! Here is my card fro the Stamp Something Challenge. It is something I hadn't heard of before but sounds really fun.Black Friday Somethings - CHALLENGE
Hi All! It's Friday and we've got a fun new challenge for you this week, one in honor of the traditional Black Friday shopping day here in the States! Each year, on the day after Thanksgiving, the retail shops and stores have crazy specials, sales, early bird deals, and low prices on all your holiday shopping needs. It's a day when people get up at crazy early hours, wait in line forever, pushing and shoving just to get that sale price or one of kind gift for that special someone! It's a fun shopping day, one might feel very victorious at what she can accomplish in a few short hours! So we thought it would be fun to have a "Black Friday Somethings" challenge! All you need to do is make a project using the color black! Simple! It can be anything, a card, scrap page, 3d item, a gift, as long as it contains black in some form, it counts!

I have used my fav stamp of the moment by Lindsay Mason, Peek a Boo Kitty, I stamped her on watercolour paper with Adirondack Pitch Black inkpad. I bled the colours and then used my black Marvy pen to go round the outline again. I used my red marvy for the hat then added some glitter as the fur. I mounted her up and than added some peel offs which I coloured red to finish the card off. I think it is stunning but that is cause of the stamp being so cute. Right away to do Motherly things for the rest of the day. See you Tomorrow,
