Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge.

Just a quicky as my shoulder/neck are sooooooooo sore and trying to rest it. This is my challenge ATC for Tilda and Friends. It is there first birthday this week so it was a birthday ATC we had to make.
This ATC is available to swap if anyone is interested.
Off to rest my blooming shoulder now. (Yes I am sitting nicely at the computer!!!)

Daring Cardmakers Challenge.

Over on Daring Cardmakers the Challenge was to make a Card with a Fish or Frog on it. I have made an ATC, I hope that counts.
I used Acetate to stamp the fishys and then waited patiently for it to dry. Mixed some glitters to look pretty and gave that to the big ones as bodies, coloured the rest in with Sakura Metallic pens. The wee ones are on shrink plastic to hide where i glued the acetate down. I stupidly put some glue on the middle and it has splodged the fin on the bottom one. Oops. The water is some pastel paper which I distressed and then washed with a metallic pen. Finally I used my new clear embossing powder to make the Gone Fishing sign. Hope you like it.
  • ATC
  • Pastel Paper
  • Acetate
  • See-D's Stamps
  • Shrink Plastic
  • Embossing Powder
  • Ink Pads Metallic Blue and Black
  • Sakura Pens and Glitter.

Don't know what to do for the rest of the day, I have just been pottering about with the embossing powders, acetate and the pens to see what I come up with. Saving my energy for tomorrow as Tom is getting a new bed so all hands on deck to sort out his room.

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge.

The theme this week is to use shades of one main colour, in addition to hair and skin tones or natural backgrounds, after all brown skies and pink grass might look a bit strange! What we want to see is shades of one main colour used for the clothing, embellishments or any patterned papers you plan on using.
Well can you see my favourite colour anywhere. LOL I love purple and lilac so thought it would make sense to have Tilda wearing shades of it. Didn't make all the flowers purple as thought it would be overkill. The Butterfly is made with shrink plastic and metallic sakura pens. It has purple on it too.
Well its a really sunny day here and nice and warm. Tom and I might have a cosy in this afternoon though as he was really ill last night with earache. I am not impressed with NHS 24. (But that's another story) Poor Wee Lamb was at times screaming in pain and their suggestion after saying they would call back and me having to phone 40 mins later was that he should get paracetamol at the time of his next dose being due (1hour 30 mins later!!!) OUCH. Well he is a bit better this am with loads of cuddles and kisses from Mummy and Daddy. Also an improvised heat pad on his ear!!
Have a lovely day whatever you are up to, Hazel xox

Cupcake Craft Challenge.

It was a sketch this week over on the Cupcake Challenge so I have made another of my ATC's which I will do swaps with later in the week. Again I used shrink Plastic for embellishments. It was the off cuts from the other stuff I had been doing and I just wanted to see how wee the flowers would be. The stamp is from Elzybells, it has on the bottom of it Made By Hazel but I masked it off. I like the pretty flower.

  • ATC
  • Elzybells Stamp (Personallised)
  • Watercolour Pencils
  • Shrink Plastic
  • Paper From Stash
  • Peel Off
  • Ribbon From Stash
