Sketch Saturday Card Challenge.

The sketch this week is by Jeanette. I really liked using it. I didn't do many of the weekend challenges last week as I had that stinky flu so good to be back at them today.
I had to make a card for Nikki who works for Alan as she had a baby on Thursday. Alan only knows it was a girl and she was big!!! Typical male not knowing any of the important stuff!!! LOL
I love this Penny Black stamp which I got on Ebay. It is so sweet for a new baby card.
  • Card from QVC (Seemingly like Bazzill Bling)
  • 6x6 Card
  • Penny Black Stamp
  • Brads from stash
  • DCWV Sticker
  • Derwent Watercolour Pencils and Aqua Pro markers

Well the forecast is for snow again but surprise surprise there is none here although the sky is very dark with clouds and its blooming chilly. I have just given up on getting any snow. Hope everyone who has the white stuff is safe and cosy.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge.

On the Secret Crafter Challenge it is a sketch by Wendy this week. I set myself a wee challenge within this as I just got my Lets make Cards for the month so thought I would use bits from it. Got a bit stuck though.

  • Standard Card in Purple
  • Embellishments and corrugated card from Lets Make Cards.
  • Dovecraft Paper
  • Peel Off Stickers
  • Silver Heart Brad
  • 3D Foam

Hope you like it. I am not too sure of it. Don't know if it is cause the card is purple.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

This week over at Papertake Weekly it was Ready Steady Craft time!!! This weeks challenge is to use the following on your card:1 ribbon 2 rectangles and3 small, round embellishments (zooms, eyelets, brads, buttons, gems etc!

Here is my card for the challenge. I have used a Kanban Pyramage for the image. It is from the concept card kit. All the rest of the stuff is from my stash. I am giving this to my Mum for my Dads Christmas. So thought the 2 Snow Folk cuddling was appropriate for it.

They will be celebrating their Ruby Wedding next summer and are still so in lurve!!!! It is really nice to have such great parents, they are my rocks.

Well it has been snowing here again so that is great although it has stopped just now. Hope it gets worse again as not enough for a snowman yet. Have a great day all,
