My Finished Wish Upon a Star...

Hi Folks,

Happy Friday!!! So here she is my mixed media Wish Upon a Star Lady. I am so proud that I completed the course!! It was done by Ida Anderson Lang.

Now I know she is not quite same as the portrait that Ida did but she is mine and I love her. I think I need to work on my realism for facial characteristics if I am to do any more, but I think she looks more ethereal with those huge eyes.

I asked Tom if he liked it and as a typical teen he said the background was nice!!! Thats like if I make a rubbish card I tell myself I have nice gluing!!!  I did send a pic to my eldest and he said it was Ace!!! So Im going with that!!!!

Items used for my Creation
Watercolour Paper
HB Pencil
Derwent Watercolour Pencils
Prismacolour Pencils
White Acrylic Paint
White Posca Pen

I am still having a HUGE issue with my antivirus software and visiting and commenting on some blogs. It just wont even let me onto them now!! I think I may uninstall it and reinstall it over the weekend and see if that stops the problems.

Stay Safe Everyone,

Love and Sparkles,

Hazel x

Challenges I would like to enter are...
Mixed Media Academy - Colour Challenge (Use at least 3 of the colours)
The Girls over there would like to know our Current Mood too.  My mood is full of hope for the future this week. I am currently doing my mindfulness course and have just started week 4 which is all about self compassion.

She has a really magnetic gaze - beautiful soothing blues too, with a lovely touch of snowy, starry magic. Happy PPF!

Oh Hazel didn't she turn out amazing!! I have enjoyed seeing so many people put their own mark on this workshop delight, I bet you are so pleased with her. She really is incredible, must make you extremely happy each time you look at her. Those flicks and splatters of white really add an air of enchantment to her.

And that's rather the point, isn't it? Our work ideally looks more and more like ours, inspired it inspired by sometimes class, but it's got our flavor!! We take the training wheels off, once were not so wobbly!

Hundreds of women around the world are planning in the intentional creativity style, and our paintings can be identified as part of the movement, but thou cream distinguish mine from Tekla's or Carol's or ...

Happy PPF, and congratulations on being our featured artist!
