Magical Fairy Door...

Evening Everyone,
Welcome back to my wee bit of Blogland. I hope you're all doing ok and are safe and well. Golly it doesnt take long for things to turn around with Covid!!! The numbers are going up rapidly here. Thankfully theres not been any more deaths in the last couple of days. Im guessing that there will be a big lockdown again soon, instead of the local ones that our Government are implementing. Stay Safe folks xx
I have been in the Craft Room for part of the afternoon. I was stuck making a card and its taken me days to get it done. I will be showing it next weekend as its for a birthday then. After I got over that hurdle I decided to play!!! Hurray!!!!
I have been looking for Copic ideas and tutorials to get to know my pens a bit better and I came across Sandy Allnocks Art Classes.  This was part of a free class with Festive Backgrounds. Perfect for someone who hosts a Christmas Challenge!!! My card is nothing like Sandys as she has 2 wee foxes on hers kissing under some mistletoe. I liked the idea of the wee hidey hole in the tree though so went with it. I can just imagine the first snow falling and the wee Fairies in their house with a lovely cosy fire.

Card Recipe
A6 Card
WOW Smooth Card for Colouring
Joanna Sheen Fairy Door and Sentiment Stamp
Tree Freehand coloured by Me.
Colouring with Copics.
White Uniball Signo pen for snowflakes
Icicles Stickles for a touch of glitter.

That's all from me for today. Im now away to tidy the craft room as its a bit messy now and then Tom and I are watching the last 2 parts of a 6 part Jon Pertwee Doctor Who story.
Keep yourselves safe,

Love and Sparkles,

Hazel xx

P. S When I enter challenges I am now just going to use the Didos name as there seems to be a few Hazels about and I think its maybe a bit confusing seeing us all and knowing who is who on linkys xx.

Challenges I would like to enter are...
Stamping Sensations - The Great Outdoors.
Allsorts - I Love (My new pens!!!!! First Snow and All things Magical.)
Crafty Catz - Glitter and Gems.

Oh goodness this is cute Hazel! Fabulous design! BTW, I spotted a redraw win with your name on it over at Creative Knockouts, so you'll need to pop over there for a look.
Stay safe!

This is gorgeous I love the door, so many questions about whats behind this door :0) and who lives there....

Sandy is an awesome teacher I love her pencil and watercolour work, if you want to learn more go to Kit and Clowder on facebook and get the free markers 101 class, this is jam packed with stuff to learn and its all free, but be warned once you start down the copic lane its hard to get out, I still play with my promarkers as I still love them and I only use copics for best, if there is such a thing in card making, hugs Pops x

Another beauty. Thanks for visiting my blog regularly and leaving lovely comments. I'm fine though feeling my age now and I think this pandemic has a lot to answer for in that respect. Take care, Hazel L. (I did notice 131 challenge entries on one site from one Hazel so I'm glad that I've always entered as Hazel L. x
