Not all Heros wear capes...

Hi Folks,

Well its the Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK and its started off very windy here in Scotland. We are still in lockdown so its not your usual bank holiday for us Scots. I do hope that folk down south still adhere to the social distancing as I have seen on the TV some beaches packed with folk.

My card today is for Jakes Lynne. She is an Immunisation Nurse and is really busy just now with pre school injection time. I just thought I would send her thanks for keeping on going during the pandemic.

This image was a freebie once again from Clearly Besotted.

Card Recipe
5 x 5 Kraft Card
Stamp - Clearly Besotted.
Coloured with Promarkers and Prismacolour Pencils
Papers Stampin Up
Thanks Die Paper Smooches.

I decided to try taking pictures using my phone instead of getting the camera from downstairs for this card. Well all I can say is always use the big camera Hazel!! !The pics were awful!!! All deleted and I had to reopen the envelope to take my pics again.

Have a lovely weekend,

Love and Sparkles,

Hazel xx

Challenges I would like to enter are...

Lovely card and the image is just stunning with the sentiment. I never take photos with mt phone. My son told me to do so, because my phone has a great camera. But I'm so used to take the camera...i forget most of the time..

Oh Hazel, I do love your card just a perfect image for a nurse and what they have all been through in the last few months. We have just come out of lockdown here in New Zealand. We have been downgraded to Level 2, we were at Level 4 then 3 now 2. Yes, we still have to distance ourselves from strangers 2 metres apart but you can now go out for dinner in no bigger group of 10 and less. Our borders are still closed and we have had only one case this week. Total cases in New Zealand 1504, 21 deaths and half of them were from one retirement village and the other half from another. We have one person in the hospital and we have had 99% recovered. We now have to keep on doing what we have been doing to beat COVID 19. I would hate to be in the USA and Brazil. Keep safe in Scotland and keep on making your lovely cards. Thanks so much for sharing your work with us over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and good luck.

Hugs

All is well again with both Joop and me. Some changes in our way of living had to be made. But they are to overcome....lol.
