Granny's Big Birthday!!!

 Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all safe and well during these difficult times. Its such a worry for us all with the pandemic. My eldest son and his girlfriend had the virus over the last week but thankfully are now on the mend. Lynne is a nurse so thankfully they got tested once they had symptoms. Both very glad to be outside in their garden today as they have stayed totally in the house for 10 days.
My Granny has a big birthday at the start of next month!! Think there wont be anything planned with the lockdown most probably still being ongoing!! I do have lots of banners for outside her house though as we cant just let the day vanish without some celebration!!!
I decided to do this fortnights Waterfall Card theme from The Butterfly Challenge for her card.
I dont think its a good idea to try and follow instructions for making cards thought when you're having a fibro flare!!! Lets just say I got myself so mixed up!! I did make the card slightly bigger than on the instructions as I needed 3 x 3 Squares on the waterfall.  And then I couldn't remember how to spell Granny!!! Oh they joys!!!
Plenty of butterflies on this card. I bought the Card kit a few weeks back as Gran loves roses and anything pink so knew she would like the pretty Hunkydory Set called Lots of Love.
Card Recipe
A5 Card
Other Dies freebies from Magazines.
Ribbon from stash

Thanks for dropping by today, Im now off to make the crafty room a bit more me friendly. I have been so used to everything being in the same spot I keep forgetting where I have popped things now!! Oops!!

Stay Home, Stay Safe,

Love and Sparkles,

Hazel xx

Hi Hazel this is a stunning card that you have made for your Granny. She will love it. Hopefully there will be time to celebrate her birthday when this is over. I am glad your son and his girlfriend are getting better. One of our friends has it too she has been tested. Take care. Hugs Jackie

Hi Hazel, so pleased to hear that your son and his girlfriend are through the other side, that must have been scary for them and you. Nobody is safe from it, so the watch words are, take no risks.
Your card is gorgeous, beautiful papers and design. Never tackled this design before.
Laughing at you not being able to spell Granny, I'm often like that myself, and it's the simple words that are the worst. You take care, Kate x

Your larger waterfall card looks gorgeous and Granny will be sure to love it. Glad to hear that your Son and his Girlfriend are on the mend from this awful coronavirus. The news yesterday showed a lady who is 106yrs leaving hospital after recovering from it and then a 11wk old baby has contracted it. There is no rhyme or reason to whom it picks. All we can do is adhere to the government rules and try and stay as safe as possible. Hugs Mrs A.
