Blue Birthday...

Hello Folks and Happy Sunday whatever you are up too.

Im here with a card I made yesterday for Tom to pop though his girlfriends door on her birthday this week. What a shame its her 18th and we are all in lockdown so no party. :(
Tom asked me for a card with a squirrel and blue papers. Well I have to say the squirrel was the easy bit. I dont seem to have very many blue papers in my stash though!! Its not a colour I would usually go for so it was a difficult one for me. Was great having a rummage though all my papers though and remembering ones I haven't used for ages!!!
I also found this topper that I got in a bundle of crafty stuff from Ebay so I popped it on the inside. I have used a sketch from Jules collection over on Always with a Heart. She has some super sketches and her cards are always fantastic!!!

Thank You for dropping by my wee bit of blog land, I hope that you're all safe and well and coping during the lockdown. Thinking of those affected by the coronavirus.

I love this card! I think the girlfriend will like it too. Yes, it's a pity for all the people who're having a birthday, 18, 25, 40, 50, 65 and all the others..

It's just gorgeous and I am sure she will love it. It's my daughter's birthday today. Just the three of us here to celebrate but her work mates appeared outside and sang happy birthday to her. From a distance of course, and left her a big chocolate birthday cake on the garden wall!

Hi Hazel

A great card. I love all the distressed edges and the topper you have added to the inside.

Such a shame you aren't all able to celebrate together .. .. but the time will come when you can. We are going to be having lots of late celebrations here LOL!!

Pleased you liked my sketch .. .. and thank you for the shout out. You are so kind.

Hope your week is going well.

Love Jules xx

A fabulous birthday card. Love all the layers and blue monochrome. It is a shame birthdays are not able to be celebrated with gatherings right now. Yet of course better safe than sorry. I saw a birthday car parade go by our house today with cars decorated and honking for the birthday recipient to enjoy. That's one way to celebrate. Thanks for joining us at Krafty Chicks Challenge this week!
