Well its Wednesday again so that can only mean 1 thing!!! Yes you have guessed it WOYWW!!! Pop over to Julia's Blog to see where it all starts!
My desk is a lot tidier this week. I shamed myself into a big tidy up! I have a few cards to be made for Mum for Diamond Weddings so Have used the Dandelion from Pink Petticoat on your left. Also inked up my new stamp (a gift from Heidi x Thanks ) Its a Cute Bear and Penguin one from Little Clares.
I have started tidying up my drawers too and found a huge pile of ink pads I have to say I haven't a clue what to do with them. All the wee Pretty Colour ones!! Don't want to bin them but????? what to do with them all. Must play with the brayer and the Kaleidoscope inkpads again soon. They are great fun for backgrounds.
Well off to do some chores. I am still in my jammies this am so thought I would do the housework then have a bath and chill for a bit before home time!!
Enjoy the day and Happy WOYWW All xoxoxo

I too have inkpads never used - some still wrapped up from early days of stamping (ashamed to say). Thanks for sharing and Happy WOYWW. Oh, and thanks for reminding me I have a Ruby Wedding card to make.
Morning mate, I see you only have a few inkpads then, lol! Wow, how do you choose a colour from that box?
Lots going on girlfriend, good luck with the card. I have a wedding one to do, not my speciality! They don't call it a challenge for nothing, lol!
big huggies Me xxx
Hazel what a great drawer of inks loads of different colours. Love to see some of your projects with the brayer. Have a good Wednesday.

Hi hazel.// wow look at all those inks.. i use my coloured ones for softening edges .. they work really well or you can create backgrounds with them. Stamp and clear emboss then rub over the inks
Lisa ;)
It's so satisfying when you've had a good tidy up and if the boys are back at school you will be glad to be kept busy :-)

Afternoon Hazel, lots of inks I see. What I do with some of mine is let my granddaughter use them so then she has her own and doesn't ruin my good ones. Some I have given away to my sister so that she has different colours to use. Love the Pink Petticoat downloads use them quite a bit myself. Have a lovely day big hugs Jo.xxx
love your eye candy on your side bar - now I forgot what I wanted to comment on!
Dx
I have a few inks still wrapped, bought because they were weird colours and cheap! (which is probably why the y were cheap! Have a great WoYWW!! ((Lyn))
I guess most of us have inkpads we rarely use - I guess I have about six I use regularly, but I might have (ahem ... one or two) more than that stashed around here!
Hi Hazel,
Now that is a lot of ink pads.
Kay
Clear emboss them Hazel, I do with mine.
Luv Joanne xx

Like the look of that dandelion stamp. I have lots of inkpads I have not used or not used very often. Have a good evening, Tracy Evans x
I use the little inkpads to do direct to paper techniques :)
Thanks for sharing babe.
*hugs* Heather x
Thanks for the peek. Well I guess I am not the only one with unwrapped stamp pads. Whewww!
when sorting out my stash a couple of weeks ago, I found a pack of 20 litte coloured ink pads. My problem was not what to do with them but when/where did I get these! Problem with lots of stash you forget what you have.
Given mine to my daughter to play with instead of the more expensive ones. Great for rainy day summer hols
Hugs Candace
Oooh I have those inkpads too - did you get a box of 30 from Lakeland a few years ago? thats where mine were from, they are useful when you want a colour you dont normally use though arent they (pink in my case!) other than that mine are sitting in a drawer hardly used too (and some probably still have the wrapping on!). Love those images particularly the dandelion one.
Fantastic inkpads !! That drawer is fab !!
Ooh, look at that lovely neat desk! Shaming yourself into action obviously works for you! As to the inks, get a Zig water brush and use them as a colouring medium, and I love the emboss resist technique, where you clear emboss and then rub the inks over the image and the paper and then buff up the embossed bit to remove the excess ink, makes it really stand out.
Hugs

I use my little ink pads a lot (admittedly I don't have quite as many as you, lol). I use them for edging round images and also for heat embossing with clear embossing powder.
Thanks for sharing x
great desk, thanks for sharing

thanks for the peek in your drawers! Oh my, that certainly came out wrong! :)
Sorry about your agoraphobia - my friend has it too so I know what it is! You have lovely little inks there - they do come in handy if you want to ink something more in detail!
I hope to visit your friend at Ally Pally!
Hugs,
Cardarian
Those inkpads are great for doing stamp tapestries with, as they work really well with tiny stamps.... Loving that cute bear stamp too!
Hazel, I'm not a stamper, and I have some of those inkpads, some never opened. I use them for DTP work, and when they are nearly juiced out, they are super for coloring anything embossed. Sorry I'm late getting here this week, but I have contracted a computer virus. It's still not fixed, but I had to make sure I wasn't infecting anyone.
Hazel I love the two images on your desk..as for the ink pads - use 'em. Stamp, emboss, direct to paper..oh joy in all those colours!
Give them away in a blogcandy hehe. It's such a shame to not be using them, since you've got SO MANY! Experiment a little and use them!!
Have a happy belated WOYWW

I have some blogcandy over at my blog, would love for you to join in!
What a great find! Use them girl!!!
Hugs
