Sewing again...

Afternoon Folks,

I hope you are having a lovely weekend. Do you have any plans? Nothing much planned here, maybe getting the grass cut as its grown so much over the last week with all the rain!!!

Its sunny today but I am not doing much. Im really tired so best to just have a rest day then I will have enough energy to get the grass done tomorrow. Hurray Im actually doing the right thing!! I always push myself too hard and then end up poorly so listening to my wee wonky body today and chilling out!!

This is a wee card I have made following Jules from Always with a Hearts tutorials on sewing cards.

My stitching still needs a bit of practice so Im saying this card is a bit rustic. LOL Better than wonky!!!

Card Recipe
5 x 5 Kraft Card
X Cut Heart Dies
Frantic Stampers - Banner Die.
Button from stash
My Tiny wee sewing machine.

Thank You for popping over to my blog, Im off now to see how Harry is doing. Hes a Secret Ninja Kitty today who just creeps up on you and is suddenly at your feet as hes lost his collar. (Again!!!) so I dont hear him coming!!!

Take Care,

Love and Sparkles,

Hazel x

Doesn’t take long for the clover and daisies to come back up,again though! It has been a lovely sunny day here today and much the same is expected for tomorrow. Hugs Mrs A.

Wow Hazel .. .. top of the class!!

Well done. I love your card. Such pretty papers and colours and well done with the stitching.

I am going to make you smile now because everyone has been practising sewing straight lines but on today's tutorial I am showing a sample of some "wonky stitching" which is a technique I am trying to perfect. LOL!!!

Well done on listening to your body too .. .. hope you had a good rest day and feel much better now.

Thank you for stitching along with me and sharing with everyone!

Love Jules xx

I love the stitching Hazel, such a gorgeous card. I used to use my machine a lot on my cards but it's now out in my daughter's studio so no more sewing :( Best to listen to your body and hope it doesn't rain tomorrow.
