A Spoonful of Sugar Tuesday Challenge.

It was a sketch this week by Debbie over on A Spoonful of Sugar.
I have used a Kanban Decoupage sheet (Siya) which I didn't decoupage as felt it was enough just on its own. I got this from Cazz http://thecazzbar.blogspot.com/ who is moving into her new flat and sold off some crafty stuff on Ebay. I wanted to help her out as she is a Great Blogging Buddy so I bought a few bits from her. Also too far away to help with the move.
  • A5 White Card
  • Kanban Siya Decoupage sheet and Floral Sheet
  • Co-ordinations Black Magic Card stock
  • Ribbon from stash
  • Flora Doodles Flower
  • Peel Off from stash

We are all still very tired today as still getting over the sudden death of wee Tai. I spent most of Sunday in tears as he was such a sweet wee man. I know the right decision was made but it still hurts. Today I haven't cried though so hopefully it won't be so hard soon. Jess my other cat is missing him. They used to fight loads but I suppose they have been together for nearly 7 years so must be hard for her. She is happy today as I bought some yummy food for her and a toy with loads of catnip! She is acting like a kitten She will be 10 in may.

Well off to make some more cards so will have them on the blog tomorrow.

Daring Card Makers Challenge.

Sue is treating us on Daring Cardmakers this week to a Take Away. I dare you to make an Oriental themed card which doesn’t use Red or Black. Oriental wtake away red and black. The cards from the DT look lovely so pop over to have a look. http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/
The symbol on this card comes from a peel off which I copied. It is meant to say Flower. I used a Sepia Marvy Le Plum for it so no black at all.
  • 5x5 square cream hammered card
  • Peach Co-ordinations card stock free with magazine
  • Oriental Stickers from E-Bay
  • Symbol from peel off

Well I am having a tired day as yesterday turned out to be quite stressful. However things will hopefully be on the up now. (For Jake and Me!) I live in hope. We just had a wee flurry of snow there so might get some for the weekend.

Poor Mum though ended up getting a tooth out yesterday so I had to go over and sort their washing out for them too. She was just meant to get a crown out and replaced but Dentist decided it was too much so 45 mins later her tooth was removed. Argh. Makes me feel sick thinking of it. Poor Mum Get well Soon. Gosh the morning just flies by, away to collect Tom from Nursery now. Have a good day all.
