Ah how cute are these 2, having a wee snuggle. I have made this card for my Aunty Fee as she got engaged on Christmas day. Yipeee something nice happening for a change!!! She sounded so excited on the phone when she told me. When I was small I got her Hollie Hobbie bedding so I know she will love this!

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge - Paper Piecing

I am so sad as the Tilda and Friends Challenge is going to be stopping running as they have more DT members than people taking part. Its a shame as I enter it every week. :-((( I have used my stamp I received last week from Caz over at it for winning the September Draw. Its a Greetings Farm Image and I think she is so sweet. Fabs Big Christmas Card Challenge - Baubles!

Believe it or not this took me longer to dot hat the ATC above it with its cutting out but I used co-ordination Peel Offs and filled in the blacks with the silver peel off spares so it took a while and a lot of concentration!!! Although its simple it is stunning!

Cute Card Thursday - So Charming.

The reason I have put In Flanders Fields is as every time I think of Poppies I think of this poem by John McCrae. I will pop it on at the end of this post. We had to learn it in Primary 5 at the school so that was 1984 and it has always stuck with me!!

I stuck the charm above the Gorjuss Girl to have a shooting star as an emblem of hope in the poppy field. The embossing was from sizzix but it hasn't really come up well on the picture. If you click on it to enlarge it you can see it more clearly!

Right off to get on with the afternoon. I am sooooo sleepy today as I have had a busy morning with my Worry Woman and also didn't really get much sleep last night so my fingers are all over the shop!!! LOL Thank goodness for the spell checker.

Its very windy here today but also right cold again!

I have covered all the above challenges with this cute wee card. I have eventually got round to looking at the Forever Friends Christmas Kit which I received last week on Auto Delivery from QVC. SO I must have been ill as I hadn't looked at it till yesterday!!!

ABC Challenge - B for Buttons!

So the colours were, Blue green white or cream. Papertake is on week 100 so it was take your pick of all the challenges so I chose Delightful Downloads, and the button is obvious!

I have used my brand new download from Pink Petticoat. She is Frillie Millie (Bonbon) and was only 99p! Ain't she cute with her wee doggy.

I had to take the picture without the flash as the background and Millie have sparkle and it was catching the light too much so sorry but you just don't see the full effect of the colouring in.

Anyway off now to chill out, tonight on BBC 1 we have Holby and its one of my must see's

Next up is Fabs Christmas Card challenge which says you have to follow a sketch. So I have used Heidi's one for MAWTT as it was on my desk.
This card also works for Winter Wonderland as they want Twinkle Sparkle this week so my Kitty's hat is very twinkly with all its glitter on it.

Finally this ATC works for 3 challenges.

Tilda and Friends wanted us to have Glitter and Sparkle

Simon Says Challenge is Anything but a Card and The Secret Crafter wanted Bugs so my butterflies count with that one.

Both count for ABC which this week is back to A for Anything goes with Animals!

Any way hope to be back on a bit more as trying to get things sorted out here. The boys go back to school on Tuesday. The holidays have gone really quickly I can't believe they are almost over. I did say last year that they couldn't get worse as we nursed my terminal Grandad last summer but this year has topped that as Alan and I have decided to go our separate ways. Thing's are stressful and tough just now for us both but hope that we will come out the other side much happier Peeps. So forgive me for not being around as much and not commenting on your blogs but as you can imagine things are hard.

Also I made the top 5 on Allsorts again this week. I am delighted as it makes me feel so happy that others like my cards so much.

My Window is in the picture and has lovely Christmas lights shining out through it. Its so pretty at Christmas with all the lights shining out from peoples houses.

I made these 2 yesterday but it has been so hot in the conservatory today that I haven't really been in it much. I take my pictures in it as the light is best in there.

Boy has it been hot today. We usually miss the heat but this week it has got us too. Lovely! Shame you don't want to do much in it though!

Have to say I was very impressed with QVC today. I ordered the Forever Friends TSV on Tuesday and it came today. Also another kit did too. Oops how did it manage to fall into my basket!LOL They are both brilliant. Can't wait to get my hands on the stuff and play!!!

I love this image and I got it as a RAK. Coloured it in with watercolour pencils and paints.

Its for Dads birthday from my Mum. Can't believe that I don't have any Husband peel offs or stickers! Hence the sentiment. I think it is quite nice. I still need to make his card form me but will do that at the weekend.

I used one of my Kanban Concept Cards for this one as I think it really has the Ah Cute factor. Just want to cuddle the wee polar bear!

The background card is a Crafty Bitz one I had in my stash.

Forever Friends - Citrus Twist

I wouldn't normally be drawn to Citrussy colours but I am getting used to this card. I got the background paper with a job lot I got from a friend. Still not to sure about the card. Feel like something is missing but felt if I added anything else it would be far too busy!

ABC Challenge - R for Roses
Gosh can't believe we are on R again on ABC. I won a prize from them last week so Thanks again. This is an ATC not a card this time. I have used one of my new Crafty Individuals Stamps, which I was dubious about but it came out great. The old style newspaper is from my Joanna Sheen ATC Assistant. I got the gold roses yesterday with some stuff I had bought from Lorraine over at the Crafty Coo. (Thanks)

Simon Says - Pink and Brown

Finally here is my Simon Says card for the week. I have used my new Dexter Teddy Stamp from Sugar Nellies for this one. He just arrived this morning. Ain't he cute. Sorry about the silver on the background paper but couldn't find any with brown on.

Well that's all for just now. Don't think I will be back today as have to get on with the chores now. Jake is off again as he was sick yesterday am (better within an hour!?!?!?!) and the schools rules are if you are sick you have to be off for 48 hours. (How Convenient for Jake)

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Bling

I didn't think I would be back on this afternoon but went to tidy up my craft stuff and behold a card!!! Mmmm still untidy Craft desk!

I have combined 3 challenges for this one. I quite liked using the Pink and White. It looks quite nice. The bling is the flowers and also the hearts on my Gorjuss girl are glitter glued.

Hurray I have got a couple of cards done. Think I may have to miss out some challenges to catch up but I love doing the first one especially so here is my card for Fabs Christmas Card Challenge.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

I keep thinking of the Compare the Meerkats Advert with the Simples!!! LOL

This card is for the ABC Challenge where we are at P for Pearls this week. You had to have pearls on the card. So I have made this wedding card for Alan's cousin to give to her friend. I got the image from Jill as part of a RAK. SO thanks very much. I love it.

ABC Challenge.

Here is my ATC for the ABC Challenge. It was O for orderly.

Busy today as trying to get organised for Jake's big day tomorrow. Gosh where does time go to He was only a baby a blink of an eye ago now he is on the verge of manhood! Just wrapped his pressies. One hasn't come yet as its a new game for his DS. It just comes out tomorrow. Got him loads of clothes as he is growing so fast just now.

SIMON SAYS - 1 FOR THE BOYS!

Shhhh don't tell Jake this is his birthday card. Well cake. Great as it has zero calories in it!

I don't know if I like it now I have made it but it was what he wanted. He was looking through one of my craft mags and saw it and said Mum make me that for my Birthday so his wish is my command! Just need to hide it till the 22nd now!

Right off now to rest my ankle. Had a bit of a fight with the front doorstep earlier and it won. I went over my ankle as Tom and I were leaving to go to MacDonald's for tea. I can now hardly weight bear on it. So hope a nights rest with it up and some ice may help!

Morning All, its a really sunny day here today. I can't believe it after yesterdays weather.

I have combined 2 challenges here again. It was accidental and then I remembered that ABC was to have a metallic effect after I had made the card. I haven't used gold mirri card for ages but really like the effect on this one.

I have used my new Lindsay Mason stamp for this card. It started out just going to be white but then when I punched out the scalloped edge it sort of changed to this.

3 Challenges in 1 Card.

I don't like combining challenges but this just sort of happened when I was making my card for Colour Create.

Theme there this week is Duck Egg Blue and Rose.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge this week is To have a Dangler from your Card. So here is my wee Dragonfly.

Finally over on ABC the challenge was I for Inside and you had to decorate the inside of the card.


It just happened as I made the card and it came together really nicely.
Off for some lunch now then hope to get another couple made before the kids come home from their holiday, as then I will have loads of washing to do!!!

I am at it again, can't help myself with the ATC's. I am in the middle of doing 8 for swaps as well. I just can't get enough of them.

Over On the ABC Challenge it is H for Hearts. So here is my wee smirk with her heart balloon. Th rub on is a HOTP one.

This ATC is for a Challenge blog I have just come across. Art Creation Friday. http://artcreationsfriday.blogspot.com/ The Girls post a picture and you have to take it and make something with it. This week it was the Heirloom Teddy. Sorry for the printer quality. I must look into getting a better one!
