Springtime's soon...

Afternoon All,

Happy New Month!!!! I cant beleive its February already!! I am not a fan of the cold dark days of January so im happy to have the new month upon us!! The days are really getting longer here in Scotland and the flowers are now starting to peep out of their hibernation. Mind you going by the weather forecast I think they shouud be snug in their beds for a while yet!! Its chilly out!!!

I was playing with my Scan and Cut once again and found this fab daffodil tealight holder over on Dreaming Tree. The best bit is its a freebie!!!!

I made 2 of them and gave one to Mum and one to Margaret (Ex MIL). They look so pretty lit up, just the tonic for the dark evenings. They last much longer than real daffys too!!!

Recipe
Vellum
Papers - Free from magazine.
12 x 12 Card from stash
Distress Inks
Gems from Stash
Tealights from Amazon.

Thanks for popping over to my wee bit of blogland today, Stay Safe, sending hugs to all who need one,

Love and Sparkles,

Hazel xx

Hi Hazel, this is a gorgeous make, I love the floral design you've created. Looks wonderful all lit up and I love it.
Yes it's great that the daylight is lengthening, gives hope that Spring is around the corner.
Alistair got his letter to go for his vaccination Thursday, so he is really pleased, I'll be a while yet, take care and keep safe, Kate x

Really beautiful and love the lit up effect! Bring on Spring for sure Hazel. Hate the dark wet days and nights. Weather here is abysmal and will be for the next few days apparently. Stay safe and warm xx

What a wonderful spring decoration! Looks beautiful by day, and even more so by night when the colours really shine. I'm sure they'll bring lots of joy to the recipients. I've been wondering the whole day which flowers I should get from the flower market, and I think I'll try to find some daffodils even if they won't last as long as yours :) Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.

Hugs, Veronika
