Work In Progress...

 Hello Everyone,

I hope your all doing ok and coping with these very unsettling times. This week I am doing a Mixed Media Free Course over at Ida Anderson Langs Website.

This is what the final piece should look similar to. I love how Ida has coloured the Girl in and thats what drew me to join in .  I dont have the exact same colours as Ida so I am going with what I think will look ok.  Im quite happy to sit and colour digi images all day but to do something from a blank piece of paper is quite outside my comfort zone!!! I loved the previous mixed media creation I did so wanted to try another one.

My initial sketch

Adding more detail to the sketch.
Adding watercolour pencils.
This is where I am now. I have activated the watercolour pencil's and am about to start on the 3rd video which is using the prismacolours.

I am going to get it finished over the weekend and I will share it next Friday with you all.  I have been doing other painting too but sadly its just slate grey on the wooden fence outside... Boooooo!!!!! Its been such a good day today that I wanted to get more of it finished before winter.

Has anyone else been having issues with Blogger and their Antivirus Software??  I cant get onto some blogs to comment as it brings up a security warning. Its been since my computer had a Windows Update on Monday. :(

Stay Safe Everyone,

Love and Sparkles,
Hazel xx

I would like to enter my make in to Paint Party Friday.

Your work is looking good! I'm not so good with portraits- and especially using colored pencils, so good for you!
Haven't had the computer/ blogger experience (at least not yet) you are having so I'm unable to help. Hope you find an answer. Happy PPF!

She looks fabulous Hazel, I will look forward to seeing the completed project.
Sorry, can't help with the blogger problem, I quite often find problems somewhere after a windows update, they usually sort themselves out in a couple of days though!

Hi Hazel :) Your drawing is very nice, I love the colours! With regards to that page that comes up, I've experienced that too and I just clicked to continue...it has to do with the HTTPS (or lack thereof) settings on Blogger, at least that's what I've been told. I never had an issue with it.
