New Pens...

Hi Folks,

I hope you're all doing ok and that things arent too bad wherever you are in the world with the Covid issues. We have just had a talk from the First Minister here and it seems like we are slightly going backwards. Think it needs done before the virus gets out of control too much again and we end up in the situation we were in way back in March.

Enough scary talk though. I was really lucky to manage to grab a bargain on Ebay and got myself some copics!!!! I love them already!!!!

I had a play yesterday evening with them after watching a Masterclass over on Craftworld at lunchtime. It was by The Frugal Crafter Lindsay Wierich. Her You tube channel is here.  The Masterclass was done using spectrum noir tri marker pens but since I dont have them I tried to match up with the closest colours I could in my copic set. I also used some of my prismacolour pencils to finish it off.

Card Recipe

A 5 Card

Digi - Bird of Paradise Free from the Frugal Crafter

Coloured with Copic Markers and Prismacolour pencils

White Highlight Uniball Signo Pen

Sentiment Stamp from stash

Doodles with Black Pen

Im now obsessed with making colour swatches like Lindsay has for all my pens!! I may be some time as I have a whole lotta promarkers to get done as well!!! It will keep me out of mischief for a while!!!

Love and Sparkles,

Hazel xx

A beautiful card Hazel, a fabulous image and great colouring.
I treated myself to some copic markers for Christmas, they are brilliant, I'm not very good at colouring but they are so much easier to use than any other markers.

Beautiful blending and colouring Hazel, you have made a fabulous card with the bird of paradise. Lindsays tutorial on CraftWorld was fab, I’ve yet to download the image and have a go. I won a set of Copics on CraftWorld earlier this year and have quite a few Promarkers so really looking forward to having a go. The swatches are great, especially the hole punch! Like you I'll be getting those done and also like you I'm a Fibro Warrior too. The spike of Covid that was predicted for September here in the UK seems to be happening quickly ☹️ Stay safe and take care of yourself, Suzi xx

Oh wow this is beautiful! I tend to use my Copics more than my Promarkers these days. Kit & Clowder have a few free classes on YouTube if you're interested. That's how I started with them.
