Yo Yo Spinner Card...

Hi Folks,

I hope you are all enjoying the much warmer weather we are all getting. Its lovely to get a bit of early sun. We dont often get it really hot on the coast here so making the most of it.
My card today is very apt as I have been planting sunflower seeds in my garden this week. I bought Mongolian Giant seeds so hoping for huge dinner plate size flowers by September!!!
I also bought some dwarf ones for in front of the giant ones so it should be a great show.

The card is made using the technique on the Butterfly Challenge. I love to join in with Mrs A over there as she really gets your brain thinking and its a big challenge to make something a bit different. This one was a real challenge as my yo yo part (the flower head) is a tad temperamental!! I think I need to buy longer brads for this sort of thing.

Card Recipe
A6 Card
Paper from stash
Sunflower Stamps freebie from Magazine a few years back.
Butterfly Stamp and Die (Won from The Butterfly Challenge a few months back)
Coloured with Promarkers.
Twine from stash.
Brad, Acetate and 3 D Foam for Yo Yo Part.

Thank You for dropping by today, I hope you have a lovely weekend when it arrives.

Stay Safe,
Love and Sparkles,

Hazel xx

The Butterfly Challenge - Spin the Wheel.
Is twine Yarn??? If it is I have everything this time. My Choice is a floral Stamp. My Yarrow and Yam are on the butterfly. The sunflower is a bit too bright on the yellow and orange)

Beautiful card. Gorgeous sunflower. One year we had the most beautiful tall sunflowers. Neighbors would stop and comment as they drove by. Then a family of ground hogs moved in across the street. They eat those sunflower plants immediately. Thanks for sharing your card at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Hugs, Debi TMS DT
