Busy Day

Boy what a busy week we have had here. Time does fly when you are busy but I really need to catch up on my chores and get some rest.  Been pushing my limits this week with the Anxiety disorder which helps make me better but sure exhausts you!
So today I have done a couple of cards just to chill out for a bit.
This first one is going to be making its way to Ohio to Mums Pen Pal. They have been Pen Friends since the 1960's!!!!  How cool is that. "Aunty" Debbie is having a very special birthday this month so Mum wanted a really nice card for her.
 Card Recipe
6 x 6 Card
Lili of the Valley Dandelion Clock Stamp
SU Papers
Lace and Button from stash
Colouring Medium - Promarkers.

I would like this card to enter the following challenges.
Crafty Emmas Challenge - Inspired by a Song (Rock around the Clock)

This second card is for my Wee Jake!! Mind you he is taller than me now so not so wee. He was very helpful this morning so think he deserves a card to cheer him up! He has a bit of a hard time of it at school.

Card Recipe

4 x 4 Card
Image from RAK from Years ago!
Sentiment from Lindsay Mason Stamp Set.
Colouring Medium - Promarkers and Sakura Stardust Pen for Snail Slime

I would like to enter this one into the following challenges

Less Is More - Masculine Card
Sweet Stampin Challenge - Snips and Snails and Puppy Dogs Tails!
2 Sisters Challenge - Furry Friends

I didn't know whether to pop a couple of black gems on the bottom right of this card but felt that it was too girly then.

Off now to enjoy a quick cuppa tea and a piece of Mums home made Sultana cake then on with the housework.
Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday
Love Hazelxo

Love both of these cards Hazel. I think you could add some black gems to the CAS and still get away with it, or, it looks great as it is. I think that little snail stamp is from Penny Black.

Love the sound of the homemade cake too!
