Rainbow Ladys Challenge.

This is my card for the challenge this week. I made it last night. Hope you like it too.
  • 5 x 5 Card
  • Stamp by Lindsay Mason
  • Paper from Red Hot Bed
  • Ribbon and sentiment stamp from stash.

Off to get on with the birthday celebrations now. Jake's choice of food all day. We are having burgers for lunch. Then an Indian for tea with strawberry cheesecake to finish. Mmmmm.

Just spoke to my Mum who feels really old having a 12 year old Grandson. We were saying it is the same sort of day today as Jake's birthday as when they went home from the hospital is was beautiful and sunny. It was my Mum who was with me in labour. Then my Dad came up to collect her. (Bless we sent him away at about 9.30 the night before as he was a fish out of water!! )Jake was born at 3.16 am so they went home at about 7am. It was my friend Marianne who I did my Midwifery training with who delivered him. So nice!

So different to when I had Tom as no-one except Alan and Jake could see me for 2 days as I was so very ill. Loads of tubes and things. Bless its meant to be the first you have probs with not the second but there you go. I can't do things the right way round!

Absolutely gorgeous! This is the sort of card I dream of being able to create, but my style always ends up being contemporary and funky which irritates me. I've no ideas for this challenge yet, but there's still time!
Well done on such a beautiful card and have a lovely weekend.

Another am dram connection! I've been doing it for 4 years and now have an audition for a two year Performing Arts course, so fingers crossed. I will be decades older than the average candidate, but they have told me that it could actually be an advantage!!!!
Watch this space!
