Rest and Colouring...

 Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my wee bit of Blogland today.  I coloured this image and background a few days ago but have been so exhausted I didn't get round to making the card all in one!!! Took ages to decide what to do!!! Not like me!!! But then Im a bit poorly sick so hey ho!!! I have had shingles and a viral thing and boy has it knocked me and my wee anxiety monster I live with!!!  Hoping to be better soon!!!
The background is from a tutorial with Kit and Clowder. Alyce kindly did it free as a 2nd birthday celebration over there!!!!  I spend a good few hours getting it all right!!! There was almost tears as I messed up a couple but this one worked ok. Well apart from the massive tree trunks!!!!
Card Recipe
6 x 6 Card
Papers Gorjuss Girls
Sentiment Lily of the Valley
Stamp - Magnolia Bohemian Peony Tilda
Coloured with Promarkers/ Flexmarkers and sakura pens for the highlights.
Ribbon and twine from stash

Thats all from me today. Im off to rest some more.  This diet malarky's no fun when you feel ill either!!! All I want is comfort food!!! I am being very good though and have only strayed a little!!

Love and Sparkles
Hazelxx

Poor you! I hope you are feeling better very soon.

What a beautiful card with great colouring. The tree trunks give it a whimsical feel so I shouldn't worry.

Oh dear Hazel I do feel for you. I remember my Mum having Shingles and it was so painful and went on for so long. (HUG). Thank you so much for taking the time to share at the Shabby Bingo Challenge at Fussy & Fancy which I am hosting, particularly when you are not well. I wish you good luck with the challenge. Judy DT

First of all sorry to hear that you have shingles...my husband had them and he said very painful and hope you are nearing the end of your illness. Surprised that you had the ambition to do such a beautiful card. Your coloring is fantastic and bringing together the whole card is very pretty. Great job and thanks for sharing at Aud Sentiment Challenges.
